Disputes Decoded: Find My Crypto Episode 1 with Frédéric Buret

This series is created and hosted by ArbTech moderator, Mihaela Apostol, and introduces a range of different stakeholders in the world of digital asset disputes, investigations, and asset tracing. In Episode 1, Mihaela welcomes Frédéric Buret. Fred is a blockchain investigations manager at Recoveris.io, a Switzerland-based boutique firm specialising in digital asset investigations and recovery, founded by experienced crypto investigators. Fred is specialised in cryptocurrency tracing, digital asset investigations, and blockchain forensics.

Throughout his career, Fred has worked on a wide array of cases, including investment scams (Law v Persons Unknown, the first known POCA s303Z51 case), phishing attacks, hacks (USD 4 million hack on a gambling platform), disputes, litigation, and insolvency matters (Globix, Dragon Coin, Dappbase/RenProject). His tracing reports are usually supporting private legal proceedings carried out by the clients and their legal advisors.
